On the surface, PVA sponge looks like a solid block. However, under a microscope, about 90% of its volume is completely hollow, and the substrate containing the hollows (pores) forms a three-dimensional mesh structure, making the entire pore perfectly continuous.
This overall structure is the biggest feature of PVA sponge, which gives it multiple functions.

Any wiping, cleaning, or drying application for a “critical substrate or clean room application” can be improved with the use of soft, absorbent static-free and lint-free PVA sponge. The product is available in sheets, reinforced wipes, sponge blocks, and mops.
PVA sponge is hydrophilic with an average porosity of 85% – 95%. This delivers an exceptionally high volume and speed of absorption. Elasticity and tensile strength properties help provide durability and allow the material to last much longer than other materials even under the most difficult conditions.
